How to apply

Surface Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from all surface contamination. Treat mould with bleach then rinse with fresh water. Fill in the surface defects with suitable filler, putty or sealant. Avoid using masking tape on wall and ceiling paints.

New Work

Surfaces must be clean and dry. For paper faced plasterboard, masonry and timber first apply PPG Paints 3 in 1.

Repaint

Remove all loose and flaking paint and sand glossy or enamel surfaces thoroughly. Use PPG 3 in 1 for priming bare areas, for painting over patchy or contrasting colours or painting over enamel surfaces.

Coats

Apply two coats by brush, roller or spray.

Clean up

Scrape excess paint from equipment into a disposable container. Clean brushes and equipment with water immediately after use.

Coverage

Up to 16m²/litre, depending on nature of surface.

Recoat

Recoat after 2 hours at 25°C (allow 4 hours in cold or humid areas).

Stirring

Stir paint with a broad flat stirrer in a circular lifting motion for at least 5 minutes before use and continue to stir at regular intervals during application.

Temperature

Do not use at temperatures below 10°C or above 35°C.
